What we'll do
We meet in Osborne Village for a cup of coffee and hit the open road. With everything taken care of for the day, you can sit back relax, nap or listen to one of the recommended podcasts or music playlists included in your pack list. We arrive at Whiteshell Provincial Park and hike the first 6KM of the challenging and scenic Hunt Lake Trail with interpretation on plant species lead by ecologist Cary Hamel. With impressive granite rocks the climbs and descents up and down the trail will inspire and challenge you. Just when you're ready to take a break, we stop for a relaxing 'drink' and handcrafted picnic prepared by Ben Kramer. After a restful lunch with a view, we continue the remaining 6ish km, relishing in the views, plants and animals. After the hike we retreat to a nearby cabin to relax lakeside with a cocktail. Sit by the beach, the fire, or sprawl out in the screened in porch you can choose one of the many places for you to fully unwind and feel the joy and peace of nature. Chef Ben Kramer will serve our amazing, nourishing and carefully crafted dinner beachside. Sit back, relax and feel the happiness a day in nature has brought you. With full hearts, souls and bellies we return back to the city that evening.
